Ford Kuga Titanium X Sport revealed

Ford Kuga Titanium X Sport trim will join the range, priced from £28,345

A Ford Kuga Titanium X Sport trim level will join the range, Ford has announced. The new Kuga Titanium X Sport trim has been developed in response to an increasing demand for higher-spec models: 80 per cent of Kuga customers have already gone for Titanium or Titanium X models.

The Kuga Titanium X Sport commands a £2,950 premium over the standard Titanium X model and features sports styling such as body coloured bumpers and wheel arches, a rear spoiler, front silver skid plate, 19-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, high gloss rear diffuser and gloss black bumper detailing. Inside sat-nav, Sony DAB radio, Active Park Assist and a rear-view camera have been fitted as standard.

Mark Ovenden, Ford of Britain Managing Director, said: “With such strong customer demand for the Ford Kuga and the majority of buyers choosing the luxury and refinement of the Titanium X with optional extras, it made perfect sense to introduce the stylish range topping Titanium X Sport. The Ford Kuga is fuel-efficient, high-tech and capable and the Titanium X Sport combines all this and more to provide the ultimate package.”

Engine options for the new Ford Kuga Titanium X Sport have been carried over from the current range, with options including a 1.6-litre EcoBoost petrol engine with either 148bhp or 180bhp and a 2.0-litre diesel with 139bhp or 161bhp. Two and four-wheel drive options are also available.

Order books for the Ford Kuga Titanium X Sport trim are open with first deliveries expected in October.
