2013 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe Concept unveiled in Frankfurt
The German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has been officially
unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show the S-Class Coupe Concept. As you
already know, the prototype is previewing an upcoming successor for the
CL-Class.
The 2013 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe
Concept is envisioned as a "top-of-the-line model" and it looks
different than its four door brother. The front end of the car is more
aggressive and sporty and the rear side comes with new horizontal
taillights.
The S-Class Coupe Concept has
5.050 mm long, 1.985 mm wide and 1.409 mm height. Under the hood there
is a V8 4.633 cmc BiTurbo engine that can develop 455 horsepower and 700
Nm peek of torque.
Inside the cabin we see a futuristic center console and a fancy
instrument panel. The ventilation nozzles are manufactured from white
aluminum with ceramic-like inserts and brushed/polished aluminum. There
are also two 12.3 inch screens that are slimmer than the ones used on
the S-Class saloon.
The production version could be unveiled in January at the 2014 North American International Show in Detroit.
