2014 Nissan Versa

The 2014 Nissan Versa Note hatchback goes on sale this month, and pricing has been set from $14,780, including a $790 destination charge. Not only is that $680 less than the outgoing Versa Hatchback, but it also offers new technology for the sub-compact car segment.
First shown at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, the Versa Note is the second-generation Versa Hatchback in the U.S., but it adds the global Note designation for the new generation. While the base price has increased $2,000 from the first generation, so has the list of features and available options.
The Versa Note will be available in three time levels: S, S Plus, and SV. Nissan's been coy as to what features will be packaged in each trim, but announced there will be four option packages including a SV Convenience Package ($540), SL Package ($1,700), SL Tech Package ($800), and Sport Value Package ($760).
Available equipment includes a smart key, Bluetooth hands-free phone system, SiriusXM satellite radio, heated front seats, heated outside mirrors, and 16-inch alloy wheels. Giving you the ability to see 360 degrees around your Versa Note while parking is a class-exclusive Around-View Monitor. For those planning a road trip, NissanConnect will be available, with a navigation system and hands-free text messaging, Google services, Pandora compatibility, and Bluetooth audio streaming.
All 2013 Nissan Versa Notes are powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 109 horsepower and 107 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent through a five-speed manual transmission in the S model, and an Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT) in the S Plus and SV models.
