Honda HSV-010 GT
Since the sad demise of the NSX in 2005, Honda has lacked a vehicle with supercar credentials. Well thanks to the HSV-010 GT that's about to change.
The HSV-010 GT has been developed as a racecar to compete in the GT500 class of the 2010 Super GT Series. Five examples of the car will take to the track for the race series.

Based on an all-new platform developed from the (currently) stillborn NSX successor, the HSV-010 GT (HSV stands for Honda Sports Velocity) is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.4 litre V8 which produces 496 horsepower and 392 Nm (289 lb-ft) of torque.
So far other than a range of specifications (see below) Honda have kept the details of the HSV-010 GT to themselves.
While the car has been developed initially as a pure racing machine, hopefully Honda will consider developing a roadcar from the project. Kind of like the Lexus LF-A supercar which was developed from the racing version.
