2015 Aston Martin DBX Concept

The all wheel drive DBX concept is part GT, part SUV crossover. Eschewing easy categorization, the DBX is reminiscent of a more sedate and luxurious Rally Fighter.

The DBX has a particularly unconventional interior that looks simultaneously spartan and luxurious. The extensive use of Nubuck leather pulled taut over metallic frames is innovative and perhaps visionary.

The all electric DBX offers considerable luggage space due to its lack of need for an engine compartment. Power comes electric motors inboard of wheels powered by lithium sulphur cells. Carbon ceramic brakes offer a kinetic energy recovery system.

Aston Martin does plan on "entering a car into the new DBX space." Given the vehicle's uniqueness, it's a little hard to know exactly what the DBX space is, so we'll have to wait and see what the future brings.
