2024 Dodge Charger Daytona

The Charger is dead, long live the Charger! Dodge enters the electrified age with an all-new Charger Daytona. Whilst is good to see Dodge are keeping their muscle cars alive, the death of the V8 will be a sad mark in history for many. Can a fully electric Charger make up for it, I sure hope so.

With a high power model expected to come down the line later, Dodge have left it to the Dayton spec Charger at launch to take the place of top of the line. Utilising 2 electric motors placed on each axle being fed by a 100.5 kWh battery, the Charger Daytona has a total system output of 590 hp and the option to use an 80 hp ‘PowerShot’ boost for 15 seconds. It will be able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.3 seconds, cover the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds.
