1971 Skoda 110 Super Sport “Ferat”

With only a single prototype ever built, the Super Sport was a futuristic coupe that would go on to become a film star. Unveiled at the 1972 Brussels motor show, Skoda wowed audiences with the Super Sports supercar proportions, mid-engine layout and angular looks. Sadly, the decision was made not to pursue a production version and it would forever remain a one-off.

10 years after it’s reveal, the car would land the starring role in the sci-fi horror film “Ferat Vampire” where it was a race car running on the blood of the driver. The styling was subsequently changed for the movie with a black paint job finished with red stripes, fixed headlights instead of pop-ups and different taillights. This was all topped off with gold-painted BBS mesh wheels.
